Gabriele Beveridge

Artist Profile

Through strategies of selection, framing, and re-combining, Gabriele Beveridge brings together disparate elements–from sun-faded commercial images to natural geological forms–into a precisely constructed but open–ended dialogue. Her complex visual language explores the lure of images and objects and the values they perpetuate whilst tapping into their poetic and personal associations.

Gabriele Beveridge graduated with an MA in Fine Art from the Slade School of Art, London in 2010 and a BA in Photography from Falmouth College of Arts in 2007. In 2011 she was shortlisted for the Dazed Emerging Artist Award. Recent solo exhibitions include Live Dead World, Seventeen, London (2018), Soft Shrinking Tremor, Parisian Laundry, Montreal (2017), Eternity Anyways, CHEWDAYS, London (2016), Mainland, MOT International, Brussels (2015), Health and Strength, La Salle de Bains, Lyon (2014) and Gold Diamond Park, Elizabeth Dee, New York (2014). Her works have been acquired for collections including the Gagosian collection, the Zabludowicz collection, the Silvie Fleming collection, Missoni collection and the Saatchi collection.
