Scarlett Bowman works with ready-made materials, repurposing everyday objects in her artwork. Employing traditional craft based processes such as assemblage, collage, casting and stitch she uses hand-made techniques to combine her ready-made finds. Bowman explores the physical experience of handling her materials, creating work that blurs the distinction between two and three dimensions.
