Sunyoung Hwang has created two limited edition prints with Ellipsis Prints entitled ‘Fossil’ and ‘Rewind’ which reflect her gestural painting style.

Sunyoung Hwang’s paintings are created through an intense, intuitive process of the repeated application and removal of paint. Her work is a representation of the unconscious, incoherent flow of internalised thoughts, emotions, memories and impressions. Hwang received her BFA in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art, London (2012) and completed a MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art, London (2016).
